why must pharmacy?
there's so many courses out there that u can choose besides that one ait? are u
sure ur passion is into pharmacy? are u sure? or just bcz it's a great course
(same with meds) so u want to take it.. is it? try to explore other fields
rosli. ok, this is my opinion k... i think that our mind had been spoiled with
all the "sc things"... just when we not good in sc while in
secondary(spm), we enter the different field (some ppl face this kind of
things). maybe we(kita2 jak la, i mean class pure sc cm kita) just stuck with
our pyshics, chem, bio..... so, when ppl ask us our ambition back then, they
were job that between those field... doctor, enginr,dentist,pharmacist,etc...
but why i didnt hear someone want to be an event director,lawyer (glad mark did
it), manager or other work that hppen to be in the hotel (okay, i'm not
mentioning the "service" yah)or something that relate to the
hospitality field, architecture(yusy did it)and etc... even if there's someone
apply to be a teacher, they'll go for sc subject,math,english,etc (no offence
ok!) but why there's no one in history??? sejarah... it's a good subject too.
ppl will respect you with ur knowledge abt history all over the world..
so what i want to tell here that dont get ur mind stuck in the "sc
world" only rosli. there are so many field that really interesting out
there. i realize this thing when i was worry abt my matrics result.. i worried
if i done bad. so i try to explore other field. and i find they were
interesting. i was nearly get into the world of hospitality, hotel management
and tourism.. i find it is interesting to meet with various kind of ppl and
prepare the best for them. i believe whatever the job is, they too want to give
the best to citizen. am i rite? working in advertisement industry, photograph
wud be exciting isnt it? same with the bidang penyiaran (not as the host la
tapinya..) yg d balik tabir.. working with the audio and video... journalism
too kinda cool.. and sc field actually, there are lots of subfield in it. it's
not just pharmacy... so, u better make urself explore the fields...the indusrty
that u never think about that u would step into before. just open your mind a
lil bit. give some space to them.
and rosli.... i know these are way too long... but i am very excited to help
you to realise that there is still so many option out there and life is not so
suck. it's the people who made it sucks.
and as for me, i'm choosing my course now, not because the demand job nowadays
or whatever it is... i chose it because i like it. i think this is my passion.
i like to know about earth since i was a little girl. i dont care if my mum
says there's not many opportunity out ther, i'm still doin it. and now i'm doin
it, she cant do nothing.. she just have to watch me and give me her support,
even she's not liking it.
i'm not asking u to do the same thing like what i did, but i know, everybody
else is just like you, want a guarantee job after graduate.... so, now it's up
to u, wether u want to sit down and think bout ur future till migrain attacks
you, or take some action to create a future...your future rosli.

That me so grateful to have a friend like her who is really care about me and my life. *mode terharu* she did reply to my comment on this blog and this is when I feel like I am going to take Pharmacy for my major and guess what? I applied for it for my first choice :) and chemical engineering as my second choice and guess what? God knows what is the BEST for me and it is CHEMICAL ENGINEERING (UMS) but unfortunately, I am already in UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY PETRONAS and majoring in CHEMICAL ENGINEERING TOO :)
In her comment, she asked about my passion and of course, my passion is towards physics, chemistry and mathematics. I really love these subjects and see? I don't have BIOLOGY in my favorite list but still, I want to take Pharmacy. I thought I am gonna be alright since what I have to do is pushed myself to study but sometime, it is hard to pushed yourself to like something you already hate and you set in mind. But still, her advice though.. make me thinking that I should do something based on my passion, interest.. that's the point..
so what i want to tell here that dont get ur mind stuck in the "sc world" only (Jen, 2010). Here, she told me not to get my mind stuck in the science subjects and fyi, I want to be an architect and accountant before I was exposed with subjects like chemistry and physics. I really want to be architect because I like to see tall buildings and sky crapper. They are pretty awesome and I used to watch the Mega-Building in Discovery Channel and it is amazing to see how the sky crapper is built then. Apart from that, I also feel want to be an accountant because of my wrong misinterpretations. I thought it is only mathematics that we need to be an accountant and I also almost enrolled myself in account subject when I was form four. But, it is actually quite hard to learn by yourself and I have to cancel that.
that's all what I wanted to say. Just wanna say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for help me to go through this crisis. Thanks. Jen, you are awesome!
p/s: when you told me about the history teacher, you kind of remind me of Cikgu Mazlan.. my mentor during the form 5.. hehehe.. :)
