Economy situation

I am not really the expert to explain or to have something to say in this topic. Why? Because I am not really have much knowledge on this economic stuff but I have my kind of own ideas of what is happening, just a Malaysian. First, I believe that all of us that aware that there are some instability in term of the price for crude oil. The lowest that we have hit almost $27 per barrel and it is very worrisome. Second, the petrol price seems to decrease a little bit by month and it is good for us for the user but not for the supplier. Third, the goods and services price are increased as well - well, with the GST implementation and bad economy. What I want to tell is - some of our projects in my company is delayed and new hire is freeze for the time being until further notice. There might be some relocation some of the staff and maybe termination. So, lets pray for the best for Malaysia and oil and gas company.

Anne Frank 1959 vs 2009

This is an honest comparison between the movies that were debuted in 1959 and 2009 about Anne Frank, the diary of a young girl. Please, if you have some time to kill, try to read the book and it will give a new insight to you about how the war has treat people. I am not saying that the current wars and whatever happen to me is not relevant, but still - I weighted every single thing the same. So, I want to make an honest comparison of Anne Frank movies from 1959 and 2009.

It is very hard to choose between these two adaptions. I like the 1959 better because it is in black and white movie and feeling just grasp me at the moment. There is an explicable moments that cannot be explained with the words, the authenticity and the lines of actor and actress. But, honestly - 2009 actor and actress resembled the real person accurately. About the story line, I will prefer the 2009's adaption because they really followed exactly what has happened in the Amsterdam according to the Anne Frank. Believe or not, Audrey Hepburn was offered the role of Anne Frank in the 1959 adaption, however she rejected that offer because Anne Frank and Audrey Hepburn were about same age and in the diary of Anne Frank, it was described and included on how Audrey's uncle was shot by the green army. Hence, she did not want to relive the horrors of her childhood. So, the rejection. But, the role of Anne Frank played by a lovely young lady who named Millie Perkins and she did it very well. She did a very good job and I believe that it is the best adaption based on the real story. The way she acted, very convincing and appealing to me. The awkwardness in the few scenes, just added some grasp of what we need in the movie and overall, it is a successful movie according to my meter of movie. Now, lets move on to 2009. It is also another great adaption with better story line because they tried to followed exactly in the diary. My favorite moment was when they gather together and celebrated the Hanukkah and when they have about sever or eight crates of strawberry. It is the moment, which I believe - they really feel free, freedom. Imagine for not being able to go out for almost two years and have to spent all the times in the hiding. How miserable is it. I don't want to explain more, but what I know - you need to read this book. Recommended.
