Do you write?

Do you write? I mean, write on the paper about the journal or diary. Not virtually, like what I am doing right now. I kind of treat my blog as the flows for my thoughts, for whatever I have in my mind and share. I have many ways of expressing myself because I feel it is important for me to express myself the healthier way. Sometimes I wrote here in my blog, sometimes - I wrote in my journal along with the photos that I took with my fujifilm xt-10 and print it with sony. Because, I just want to be able to remember everything - when I am old - to remember everything I have done and experienced when I was younger. Everything. So, lets write more and more so that the memory will be cherished, always.

Multi-language

I wish I am a multi-language so that I can read all books from its original language. I wish I know Russian, so I can read Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. I wish I know Brazilian language so I can read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I wish I know Turkish language as well, so I can feel and grasp the Snow by Orhan Pamuk. I wish I have learnt Dutch so I can feel how it was to live under the Germany regime - The Diary of Young Girl by Anne Frank. 

Calculator

Have this ever happened to you? Because I have. Minus the part packed TV remote. Because I forgot to bring my calculator to one of my math test. I believe that was happened when I was in secondary school. Maybe Form 1 or 2. Not sure which one. But, believe it or not - I scored the paper and how I do it? I do it the conventional way. Calculate everything from the paper manually and the tip is, you need to be very very fast. Since it is a math test, it is better to have calculator and after that incident, I have never forgot to bring my calculator because it is a nightmare. 

I was born in wrong era!

Honestly, I feel like I was born in wrong era. I know there were many people felt the same way just as me. Because I started to appreciated history. This is what happen when you are growing old. As for my current reading for the challenge reading in 2017, I read Oliver Twist by the famous Charles Dickens. I just love how the English was not so complicated and polite. Everything that was narrated by Dickens, is such a breath to everyone who reading. I wonder how people wrote during the late era with the background of London. I am not sure which year did Dickens stated its book background but it made me think - I was born in wrong era. I want to feel it. Grasp it. Experience it. Only if we can travel back to the old time. Only if. 

Old!

I am afraid of getting old, honestly. I just want to stay where I am as today, Being old, ughhhhh. So sorry but that is the reality. But, I have to admit - I am getting older. Why? Because, during my free time - especially during this new year. My buddies asked me to celebrate the new year, but I take a rain check. I just stay at home, watching my favorite series. Then, when I bored - I switch to read books. When I am bored again, I draw, yup - this is one of my current passion - acrylic painting. I decided to give it a try but I found it to be fun - to just immersed with the painting. I am still learning and taught myself with the skills. Luckily, I found this special book and the kit of acrylic painting was provided as well. So, there you go. One two three four, I have created three drawings so far with a small size of canvas. I am also thinking of purchase new large size of canvas for me to draw and also, new acrylic painting because what I have with mine, already finish because last week - I try to paint with very large canvas size which I ended like half of my paint - I hate the top, but I love the bottom of my paint. So, basically - it is the story of my new passion. But seriously, I don't want to grow old. People said that it is just a matter of mind, but I want to stay awesome as I am today. I am awesome. 

New Year Resolution 2017

Happy New Year everyone and all the best for the year 2017. Let's do the best for ourself.

My only new year resolution is to just keep on going what I have been doing. I have exercised regularly since August 2016. I also have started eating healthy and less junk food. Come on, who can resists the temptation. I also have cut my rice intake which sometimes, I don't eat rice at all but instead more protein and fiber. More chicken and salads. I went to gym since last August and try to lift this and that and jogging. I am not going for bulky body, just a fit one.

So, Let's keep going for the better. I am doing this because I want to look awesome when I am old. Hahahaa.

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy

It is a 800 and plus of pages book, maybe it took me 2 weeks or plus to finish it. People said, it is one of the most and must read book. I just wonder, am I wonder for the second round? My first time read, it is really hard to adapt to the Russian writer style and maybe, it was my first time to read such a literature from Russian. Hopefully, there will be new insights from the second reading.

Holocaust

Do you even know what does it mean by Holocaust? I am such an ignorance because I don't even know what the term stand for. But, what people said, the more you read, the more you will know eventually. For example, I came across this term when I read the Anne Frank, the Diary of Young Girl where she kept a diary of herself during this holocaust era which is WWII if I am not mistaken, Germany under the Hitler leadership, decided - he wanted to kill every jew in Germany. So, Anne Frank and her family have to hide from the army and the government. So, during her hideout of two or three years, she wrote everything happen in the attic and her personal thought. Then, after that moment - I am really attracted to this branding of holocaust. I even wikipedia the holocaust and trying search for another footage or picture during that era. The life during that moment was very hard and it is even harder for the jews. It is not that I am not stand or fight for the Germany or Jews, but there is some blurred lines between these and the misconceptions. I really have to study and read more about the conflict. However, I came across more and more books with the holocaust themed and it is good to read another different experiences of people during that era. Because of this, I am amazed and will make sure to visit Germany for the Auschwitz's camp, which is the largest camp that were build to placed all the people during that era and Amsterdam for the Anne Frank's attic, pay a visit and check personally how does it feel to hide for three years.

random things at 11.56pm 4th August 2016

This is just a random things that I want to post. As for now, I am somewhere, outstation and due to miscom with the client, I have plenty rest day. I am not even feel like to do anything but luckily, I bring a bunch of books with me. Just these few days, I switch between reading and watching movies, but I prefer reading while laying lazily on the comfy bed. Is there any job that will pay me just for reading books the whole day? Anyway, it is August already and believe or not, we will almost approaching the third quarter of 2016 and wishing everyone, to be strong and have faith. All this is just temporary and I will do my best and better, hopefully everyone is the same. This is the picture that I have taken today, just a dead butterfly where I found during my small walk. It is just die, but still beautiful.

Bottle : With Fujifilm XT10

Bottle. Only if we knew how beautiful it is under the sea. The life - such as fishes and coral reefs, it is a majestic underworld of the sea. It is like you step into a different world, scary yet amazing. The blue greenish of ocean colours, the warmness and coldness of sea water at the same time and the fishes swimming freely make you forget about everything and appreciated for everything with what you have and experienced.

Over the Scattered Sky : with Fujifilm XT10

Over the Scattered Sky. This was taken when I went to outstation to Kota Kinabalu for thousand times. This is where the famous beach located in Sabah, Pantai Tanjung Aru. My last time visit to Pantai Tanjung Aru was 15 years ago and it was when I was 12 years old. Such an attraction to the tourists and when I am taking this picture, you can see lots of tourist from Korea. This is the kind of view that will help to soothe the tired souls. You can just sit down and enjoy the view. The winds are salty, the waves are rough and the sky is calming. What else do you want? At this moment, I prefer to sit and read book for hours. Just my kind of short vacation.

Fujifilm XT10

I owned a Fujifilm XT10 and I bought it last year. So far, I have captured so many pictures and I guess I should share it here. It is just another thing that I did when I travelled or feel like not to read. Here, I want to introduce you to two of my favorites kids in the world. Izz Mia Medina and Izz Rayyan Rayqarl. When I went back to my hometown, I always wanted to capture their pictures. They are adorable, don't you think?

A Happy Ending

I believe that everyone love a happy ending. No matter in books or movies, all of us always root for the happy ending. I just finished a book with a happy ending, but different with what I have imagined of. The happy ending in the movie is so much better as compared with the book that I just finished today. Is there a happy ending when in the end, everyone is dead, then you miss all your families, then your old home and everything. I know that it is more to reality in our life but still, people expect a better happy ending. Don't you think so?

The meaning for someone who loves books.

Just up to the day, I have read 169 books roughly.
Currently, I have read about 48 books already for this year. Just another 52 books before the end of the year 2016.

I read two books at the same time, just in case I feel bored with the other - so I can read other.

Then, the longest book I have read is Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy with 960 pages.
